Ships calling the Port of Hanstholm are not subject to pilotage unless they are loaded with dangerous cargo according to the IMDG Code. In addition, tugs are subject to pilotage if the tow is over 50 meters long or 20 meters wide.

The port relates to the applicable rules of the Pilot Act in chapter 3.

If you require a pilot, you must contact Port Security no later than eight hours before arrival/departure.
