Cruise Calls Fredericia

Fredericia is an attractive and popular cruise ship destination.

It only took a few years for the interest in the small city to grow because of a dedicated effort from ADP, the Municipality of Fredericia and Visit Fredericia that together accomplished  to brand and sell the destination to the international cruise industry.

An authentic and historic city

Fredericia is a city with a unique history, authenticity and courtesy which appeal to the international cruise ship guest. World-famous tourist attractions

Fredericia is located in the heart of Denmark close to unique tourist attractions including 3 from UNESCO's list of World Heritage Sites such as Kongernes Jelling - Home of the Viking Kings, Christiansfeld and the Wadden Sea. Furthermore, Cruise Fredericia offers visits to LEGOLAND®, Hans Christian Andersen’s childhood home in Odense, Egeskov Castle at Funen, Koldinghus or Ribe that, in addition to being Denmark's oldest town, also offers visitors an authentic Viking experience.

Central location

The central location, excellent operational facilities and 15 metres of water makes Fredericia a destination that attracts the cruise line companies. A 370-metre long cruise ship quay only a 10-minute walk from downtown is something that cruise lines cannot get anywhere else.
