The Port of Fredericia

The Danish oil and gas production is important to the Danish economy. The extraction of oil in the North Sea annually accounts for billions of DKK in income to the state. The Crossbridge Energy oil refinery is located at the Port of Fredericia and the Danish North Sea oil is shipped from the oil terminal.

Liquid bulk terminal

The Port of Fredericia also handles refined oil and crude oil products. Several companies with large tank installations distribute oil products to the entire Region of Southern Denmark.

Due to the green transition the production of oil and gas has decreased in recent years. The Port of Fredericia therefore adapts to the market situation and is in these years transforming the core business from oil to bio fuel products as well.
