ADP A/S is a municipally owned limited liability company that has operated the commercial ports in Fredericia, Nyborg and Middelfart since 2000. The central location of the three ports makes them important junctions and links between Denmark and the rest of Europe. At the junction of the port, motorway and rail, ADP transships cargo from the entire world on a daily basis. With an annual volume of cargo of approx. 8.6 m. tonnes, ADP is one of Denmark's largest ports. The business revolves around grain, feed products, biofuels, recycling products, container, project cargo, liquid bulk and cruise ships. Our ports are of international standards in terms of capacity and water depth, but our greatest strength is our location – quite central in relation to both national and international infrastructure.
Link between the port and dry port
The central location with its access to multiple modes of transport drives our development. We are developing the hinterland of the Port of Fredericia into Taulov Dry Port which is a 700,000 m2 large area where modern storage and logistics facilities and possibilities of transhipment of cargo between port, railway and motorway create effective and flexible transport and logistics solutions for our customers. ADP not only delivers port infrastructure, we are also a business partner that delivers value to our customers by taking a 360-degree approach to our customers’ transport and logistics challenges.
Interaction between city and port
We are very much aware of the interaction with our surroundings in the cities, where we operate ports. We are involved in our local community and balance our development in close interaction between city and port. Our ports create value and jobs in all three municipalities, and the ports are therefore of great importance to the local and regional economy.
ADP construct's Port House, which is a modern multi-user office complex.
